Our History
La Gavitella, once a refuge for Praiano’s fishermen, has for centuries been a symbol of the Amalfi Coast’s seafaring life, where boats were pulled ashore and nets were mended under the sun. Today, La Gavitella is one of the few beaches on the Amalfi Coast that enjoys sunlight until sunset, a haven of peace where the sea still reflects its authentic maritime spirit.
