BEACH CLUB INFORMATION
When are you open with the beach club?
We are open from 16 May until 6 October.

How far in advance do I need to book the beach day?
We suggest reserving the beach day at least two weeks in advance to secure the availability.
How long can we stay on our sunbeds?
You are welcome to stay at the beach club from the opening time at 9:30 AM until the closing at 7:00 PM.
The reservation at the beach club will be valid for the whole day.

What is the latest arrival time at the beach?
If you have a beach reservation we guarantee your sun bed until 1.00 PM.
After this hour, we no longer guarantee the reservation.

Yes, you can order food and drinks directly at the beach club through our beach menu.
Can I bring my personal beach equipment?
Please, note that is not possible to bring your own beach equipment (umbrellas, deck chairs, sunbeds, etc.) into the establishment.
What facilities are at the beach club?
Toilets, changing room and shower.

We are a relaxing place where the natural sound of the Amalfi Coast waves, combined with seagulls and gentle sea breeze will accompany your beach day.

Does the beach club have sun?
La Gavitella is the only Amalfi Coast beach where the sunset occurs late in the afternoon during the summer period.

The beach club is located in Praiano at La Gavitella Beach.
Our sunbeds and king beds are located on a cliff overlooking the sea.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
When do I pay?
Payment for the beach packages is taken in advance via our website.
If you consume any extras outside of your package, you will need to settle the bill before you leave the beach club.
You will need to make the payment with one of our cashiers.
Can I pay with a card or cash?
Yes, we accept cash, debit cards and credit cards (including American Express).

How far in advance do I need to book a table at the restaurant?
We suggest reserving a table at the restaurant at least one week in advance to secure availability.
How long can we stay at the table?
Your table reservation is booked for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

What happens if I am running late?

How can I reach the venue from the city center of Praiano by the stairs?
La Gavitella is an overlooking sea restaurant and beach located in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast.
Feel adventurous like a local and reach us climbing down the enchanting stairs surrounded by nature located in the Gavitella district and enjoy the breathtaking view along your way.

The pier is located at the Spiaggia Grande of Positano, which can be reached by sea with a ferry or by land by car, scooter or bus.
If you reach Positano from Sorrento, Amalfi or Capri by ferry, you will arrive directly at the main dock of Spiaggia Grande. From here, you could take our shuttle boat which will bring you in less than 10 minutes cruise to our venue. If you reach Positano from Sorrento or Amalfi by land, you should reach firstly Piazza dei Mulini by car, scooter or bus.

Our shuttle boat is complementary only to our restaurant’s guests.

Unfortunately, we do not have a direct shuttle boat available from these locations.
However, if you come from Amalfi, Sorrento or Capri there are different options for reaching us

Are animals accepted?
Our venue accepts small animals. Please specify it in the booking notes of your reservation to guarantee you the best accommodation.
